It all starts with an idea.
HANDMADE by CUT LOVES THE CRAFTS. Katharina Schattauer is a master tailor, her label, founded in 2012, was born out of the idea to make fashion for people who are looking for an individual and perfectly fitting garment. Through her yoga teacher training, the desire to create flexible clothing from sustainable fabrics to "yogic" arose. Due to industrialization, craftsmanship has been on the decline. CUT's work sets her apart from textile giants. She started her own fashion label and produces slow fashion under the name Handmade by CUT. The fabrics she uses are sustainably produced by Katharina. She dyes many pieces herself. "Each piece is unique." As a one-woman business, the Salzburg native can only ever produce in limited quantities. But that is exactly part of the concept. In her studio in Salzburg, Katharina tailors to measure and can respond to the individual wishes of her clientele. Why less is more, even in the closet.

Handmade sustainable individual leisure and yoga fashion. The materials are organic cotton jerseys and GOT certified viscose jersey. The swimwear is made from recycled fabric "ECONYL". Old PET bottles are recycled and then the new fabric is created.
