Do you have clothes hanging in your closet that you no longer wear?
Then bring them along and discover what they’re still capable of!
Why don’t I wear this anymore?
What exactly don’t I like about it?
And what would I need to change so I’d enjoy wearing it again?
Together, we’ll get to the bottom of these three questions. With creative ideas, small changes, and a treasure trove of materials, we’ll experiment with how forgotten wardrobe staples can become true favorites again.
Whether it’s a different length, a new detail, or a surprising twist: Often, it takes less than you think.
Please bring 2–3 pieces of clothing that you’d like to give a second chance!
And if a piece doesn’t suit you anymore, it might find a new home at the clothing swap afterward.
Because sometimes you don’t need new clothes—just a new idea.
Hi, I’m Barbara!
As a wardrobe coach, fashion stylist, and self-love coach, I love recombining clothes you already own or turning them into new favorite pieces through small changes and creative upcycling ideas.
Because often, you don’t need more clothes—just a fresh perspective on them.
- There’s hardly any piece of clothing from which we can learn as much as from one we no longer wear. Why has it become a piece of clothing gathering dust in the closet? Is it just missing the right outfit to pair it with, does it need a small alteration, or can we learn something from it that will inform our future purchasing decisions?
- That’s exactly where this workshop comes in. We’ll rethink the clothes we already own, discover creative ways to alter them, and figure out what really makes sense. It’s a mix of styling, upcycling, and a shift in perspective that goes far beyond a traditional sewing or upcycling workshop.
- New ideas for you and your closet!
Impressions
Please bring
- 2–3 pieces of clothing that you no longer wear but would like to give a second chance. If you have sewing supplies at home—such as fabric scissors, a needle, and thread—feel free to bring them along. They’re helpful, but not required. The most important supplies will be available on-site.
- If you already have specific ideas for a project, feel free to bring the materials you’ll need, such as beads, ribbons, buttons, or other special details. Together, we’ll figure out how you can bring your ideas to life.
Requirements
Curiosity and a desire to try something new. No sewing experience is necessary!
Mag. Barbara Lukas
Hi, I'm Barbara!
As a closet coach, fashion stylist, and self-love coach, I love showing women just how many possibilities are already hidden in their closets.
I’ve been working professionally in fashion and style for over twelve years. And for the past three years, I’ve been right where fashion truly lives: in the closet.
My wardrobe coaching sessions aren’t about getting rid of as much as possible or constantly buying new things. Instead, we work together to figure out why certain pieces are hardly ever worn, how existing items can be mixed and matched in new ways, and what it really takes to make clothes fun again.
I especially love turning so-called “wardrobe ghosts” back into true favorites through small changes, creative styling ideas, or surprising upcycling projects.
Because I’m convinced: We don’t need more clothes. We need more ideas.
And sometimes the best idea simply starts with a fresh look at what’s already there.
