3D printed vases and home accessories.

In the 7th district of Vienna, Sheyn’s showroom and shop is a calm, design-focused space - a place to step in, slow down, and take a closer look.

The interior is dark and minimal, with black walls and simple aluminium displays. This keeps the attention on the objects themselves. As light moves through the space, it highlights textures and creates soft shadows, so the pieces subtly change throughout the day.

The collection includes vases, bowls, and small objects, all based on clear geometric forms. Some feel precise and structured, others more fluid - but all share a strong sense of balance and detail.

Everything is designed and produced locally in Vienna using 3D printing from renewable materials. This allows Sheyn to work in a very direct way, creating objects on demand and continuously refining their designs. The showroom and shop is open to visitors - whether you’re just passing by or looking for a special piece to take home.

This is your Story!

How would you describe the sense of life in your city?

Vienna has a calm and grounded atmosphere. It may not be as fast-paced as cities like London or Paris, but it has a rhythm that feels balanced and enjoyable - with plenty to discover if you take the time.

What was your first designed piece?

Our first homeware piece was the Fald—19 Vase. It started from a simple cylindrical form that we gradually folded and opened up through a series of controlled transformations, creating a soft, almost textile-like geometry with a strong architectural presence.

What is your favourite place in the city?

Praterstraße in the 2nd district. It has a great mix of restaurants and a relaxed, local atmosphere - perfect for spending an evening.

Which sightseeing attraction a tourist should not miss in your city?

Not a classic, but definitely worth seeing: the modern architecture at the WU Campus. It offers a completely different perspective on Vienna.

What makes your brand special?

All our designs are created by architect Nicolas Gold, who studied under Zaha Hadid and Kazuyo Sejima. This background shapes objects with a strong architectural language - forms and structures you don’t usually see in vases, bowls, or lighting.

Dein absolutes Shopping-Mekka in der Welt ist?

Copenhagen. It offers an incredible selection of interior design brands, combined with inspiring contemporary architecture throughout the city.

What is the story of your brand?

We started Sheyn in 2016 as a side project, first designing 3D-printed jewelry cast in silver. In 2019, we got our first printer, developed initial prototypes, and presented them at a design market in Vienna - where they sold out immediately. From then on, we focused on homeware.
